Intro:
We had great fun at the Bumble Bee ID Workshop in June 2023 with Claire from Buglife and Helen from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust - who knew there were 9 different species of bumblebee!
Previous Activity
The day started off inside with an introduction to bumblebees and gave pointer on how to recognise each different species. We looked at images and some samples and discussed identifying them and found out all about their habitats and how they live.
We then went out in the afternoon to spot butterflies in the Wellmeadow and down by the Riverside.
A well informed and useful workshop.
