Gamsie

Intro:
The playing fields affectionately know as 'The Gamsie' are located down through the Scotia Homes development near the Community Campus. As well as hosting Blairgowrie & Rattray Community Football Trust teams, it has a walk around the exterior and many fruit trees. Things we are working on there include:
- Planting more fruit trees
- Recreating the wildflower walk
- Reinstating the pond in the wooded area by the car park
- Monitoring activity due to the housing development

In early 2023 we ran a tree pruning workshop where we learned what to look for and how to prune our fruit trees as well as others.
