The Boys' Brigade in Blairgowrie provides a weekly programme of activities for boys from 6 to 18 years old. Our age groups are as follows:
Anchors - for Boys P2 to P3
Juniors - for Boys P4 to P6.
Company Section - for Boys P7 to age 18
These groups currently meet on Friday evenings from 6.15pm to 7:30pm in Blairgowrie Parish Church hall.
Fees for the year are £25 per child (this goes to the Boys Brigade Association) and the boys should also bring £2 per session. These subs help cover treats such as easter eggs, chips on chip night, food for halloween and christmas parties as well as other materials for doing crafts etc. We also take part in fundraising events to help with this and are always happy to recieve donations.
A typical evening for the boys would be:
- Inspection where they can earn points for their team
- Opening worship/theme for the evening
- Activities or crafts
- Team games
- Closing
We are always happy to welcome helpers in to the group as this allows us to offer additional activities for the boys. If you are interested in becoming a helper please email 2blairbb@gmail.com
