Blairgowrie Town Hall Association are delighted to announce another first in their programme of cultural events.  Trad jazz fans are in for a treat.  The East Coast Jazz Band will be playing in Blairgowrie Town Hall on Saturday April 6th 2024.  

This Dundee based band, with connections to the legendary Average White Band, consists of trumpet, keyboards, clarinet, bass, drums and a female vocalist.  With the demise of the once popular bands like Kenny Ball, Acker Bilk, Chris Barber and many others, this style of music has fallen out of fashion and there are fewer bands playing.  So this is an opportunity  to indulge in a bit of nostalgia with such classics as Shine, Basin Street Blues, Stranger on the Shore and many others.
