We are looking for volunteers to help with the upkeep of the Discover Blairgowrie website from adding events to checking with groups and businesses to ensure their information is up to date and to help with our mailing lists.
Details:
We are looking for people to help with the overall focus and development of the website as well as people to look after different elements so you can choose what you'd like to help with. The sections we are looking for help with are:
Website
- Advertising opportunities - developing areas of the website for advertising to raise income
- Attractions - Developing an Attractions section
- Blogs and news items - adding news, recipes, traffic/roadworks items
- Community Groups - checking details are up to date and enhanced Listing Management
- Events - weekly - Checking weekly events are correct and up to date
- Events - monthly - Checking monthly events are correct and up to date
- Events - general - Adding/clearing one off events
- Job Vacancies - promote and attract job vacancies
- Local information - ensuring information is up to date
- Shops & Businesses - checking details are up to date and enhanced Listing Management
- Town volunteer list - ensuring up to date
- Visitors section - helping to develop this section
Newsletters
- Managing the general newsletter list
- Helping to develop the themed lists; Eat Local, Shop Local, Stay Blairgowrie, Play/Create Local, Health & Wellbeing
